The goal of this project was to recreate the increasingly popular square headband that fits like sunglasses. The image above is one of those headbands purchased from a store.

First, I replicated the purchased headband and then created my own variants, using the original as inspiration.

The bottom headband is the original, with the newest version on top. I made changes based on the feedback I got from people who tried on the printed headband.

The above images of 3D printed headbands are physical representations of each design change.

At the time of this project, there was a contest on www.cults3d.com to create an original design to celebrate it being the year of the dragon (2024). I added scales to the curvy headband design and submitted that as my entry to the contest.

This was the final product.
